Preston Malayalee’s pride -Malayalee Association Preston – Completing its successful 8th year and its ongoing ambitious saga in to its 9th year. The term 2011-2012 was a successful year for this association both in terms of its leadership and activities mainly Family Fun Day, Onam 2011, Onam Sports(4Days),Evening bus tour to Blackpool lighting, Dance school inauguration, Malayalam Class inauguration, Xmas New year night and successful conclusion of the term by its General body on 12th Feb 2012. The annual General body of MAP for the term 2011-2012 was conducted on 12th February 2012 at St.Clare’S Church Parish Hall at 1:00 PM. The meeting started with a prayer followed by the welcome speech by Mr. Albert Jerome, Joint Secretary of MAP. The whole meeting was presided by MAP President Mr. Job Joseph. Mr. Geoffrey George, Secretary to MAP presented his report for this year followed by the excellent presentation of its Annual Income/Expenditure report by its treasurer Mr. Denish. M .Jose. This was followed by the discussion and suggestion session which seen an enormous participation from its members and was concluded with the approval of the annual report and its annual income/Expenditure report by the general body. Mr.Job Joseph, MAP President, has expressed his gratitude to all those who helped and participated in this year’s activities of this association and general body.
